Register for Fenway Park, Harvard/MIT and Witch City tours at Boston Eventworks’ website by Nov. 1
JEA and NSPA are working in conjunction with Boston Eventworks Inc. to provide you with sightseeing tours of Boston. You must register directly with Boston Eventworks Inc. to secure your spot on the tours. Boston Eventworks Inc. reserves the right to cancel specific tours due to low enrollment.
All tours are scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 14 and include transportation to and from the hotel, with the exception of Fenway Park. Meal costs are not included. Advisers/chaperones are responsible for their students. No other chaperones will be provided. All tours will depart from the Sheraton hotel. Please arrive in the lobby of the Sheraton at the table marked “Sightseeing Tours” 15 minutes before departure time.
Fenway Park – The Green Monster • $21 • 1 p.m.
America’s most beloved ballpark! See and feel the excitement at the field that saw it all – everyone from Babe Ruth to Big Papi. This tour will feature you on the pitcher’s mound, staring into the stands where many home runs originated and into the dugouts where the magic still happens.
Meet at Fenway Park Gate D (Corner of Yawkey Way and Van Ness Street).
Harvard University, Harvard Square, MIT, and JFK Library and Museum • $65 • 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Whether you’re looking for your next step in your education or just checking out some of the finest educational institutions in the world, this tour has what you’re looking for. You’ll also have the opportunity to explore the JFK Library and Museum where you’ll be astonished by their exhibitions from that presidential era. Visit Harvard, MIT and the JFK Museum and Library all in one day! A great day of taking in all that is Boston. Lunch will be on your own to enjoy.
The Historic Witch City of Salem, Mass. • $70 • 9 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.
Visit three of the most famous locations Salem has to offer: The Nathaniel Hawthorne House, The House of Seven Gables and The Witch Museum. This is a tour you’ll always remember. See where the Salem Witch Trials were set and gander at some of the oldest artifacts that date back to the 1600s, including real witch items that were actually used in the 15th century. Lunch will be on your own to enjoy.
